UN Sustainable Development Goals

(edward hoare) #1

Is there any set of globally accepted Global Goals more important than the UN SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals)?

(Bill Ames) #2

Yes. However it is not what you think. It is what you (representative) does as an individual. It is what you do, as a person, to make the world a better place. It is the sum of these 7 billion plus actions that will be required to make any set of goals realizable. One of the most significant stumbling blocks (what are they?) is the individual has no clue what they need to do within the constraints of their individual life. Can people like the homeless person sleeping on the street in LA or the crew member on a nuclear sub that stays under sea for six months both contribute during their daily lives, their “days?” Until each of us knows our daily responsibilities addressing this global problem we will make little progress.
